The Origin of a Way of Seeing
Impossible Vessels marks the inception of my artistic practice. Through the projection of slides onto broken and intervened glass vessels, I began to construct a language where light, glass, and image abandon a flat support to become a space of transformation.
The earliest projections utilized photographic reproductions by other authors—a necessary distance to approach a visual experience that I could not yet address through my own imagery. Over time, those reproductions gave way to photographs taken by myself. This transition marks the beginning of a trajectory in which visual experience becomes the core of my work.
